cut a bit of social life to have time for yourself
now with the internet you can search and acquire skills you want, there lot of online tutorials and video tutorials
search the market and try to have skills which industry is looking for , in your sector, you need to have those skills and have those skills mentioned in your resume to get called, or else you will not even get called.
post your resume in all the jobsites and placement agencies wherever possible, top notch job sites are paid for employers, and not every company pay to post jobs or search resume, lot of companies hire via free websites, and posting classified site ads
read your news paper for job classifieds, there are plenty of job classifieds in the news paper.
follow the leaders in your sector
for example, in IT you can follow .net pages or some guys who are expert in that area, so u get updates from them, and stay updated
if you are looking for making money online or any buisness
you can learn here, do not invest any money, just go there and read daily it will help you a lot

i dont like mlm(multi level marketing), pyramid schemes, but lot of guys make huge money out of it
bad thing about mlm, in the end the guys who joins last luse the money, and if lot of people luse money, they do police case and complaints, then authorities come into action, so there is a risk of getting arrested and your bank alc sealed
